In my early 20’s I immigrated to London, U.K. to pursue a career in custom carpentry. I worked for a few businesses around London specializing in hardwood flooring, but ultimately setup my own business: www.swcarpenters.com, specializing in bespoke wardrobes, entertainment centers, custom bookcases and shelving systems. With most of our business coming from lived in houses in South West and Central London, working in finished homes was a daily challenge that we were happy to take on.
After getting married to my American wife in 2013, we started looking for a city in the USA to move. We decided on Charleston, South Carolina and made the big move for our little family in early 2016.
